Jessica Biel, Forest Whitaker for Powder Blue
Powder Blue will be helmed by Timothy Linh Bui, brother of Three Seasons director Tony Bui.
The film tells the story of four eclectic characters — a mortician, an ex-con, a suicidal ex-priest and a stripper — brought together on Christmas Eve by a mixture of circumstances. Timothy Linh Bui wrote the script from a story by Stephane Gauger.
With a recent Oscar win, Powder Blue represents one of many upcoming projects from Forest Whitaker including The Great Debaters, where he co-stars with Denzel Washington; Night Watch with Keanu Reeves; Where the Wild Things Are; The Air I Breathe with Kevin Bacon; and Vantage Point with Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox.
Shooting for Powder Blue is set to begin late July in LA.
