Ray Winstone is looking to be a popular guy by 2008. After having small stints on The Departed (Mr. French), The Proposition, Cold Mountain, Sexy Beast and King Arthur, the actor will have a lead role in both Beowulf and (now) Indiana Jones IV.
Ray Winstone for Indiana Jones 4
Ray Winsone has been picked up by Paramount to join the fourth installment of Indiana Jones. Since the film's plot is guarded better than our southern border, it is hard to say what role Winstone will play. It has, however, been suggested that he will play Ford's sidekick.
Call me crazy, but isn't the role of sidekick normally played by some Asian midget or female interest? No, it can't be, Brokeback Indy?
All kidding aside, the film will be produced by Lucasfilm and directed by Steven Spielberg. If you didn't already know this, I don't know what to tell you.
Indiana Jones IV will begin filming this June in Los Angeles and 'top-secret' locations around the world. Paramount Pictures is hoping to release the film May 22nd, 2008.
