We know a change is coming. Maybe life for Ravu will improve.
Tree mail arrives it says, “No brawn required some brain teasing at the least. When it’s over one will get exiled while others get to feast”. So we know Survivor, we think this will be a reward challenge for food right? As the tribes walk into the clearing, Jeff notes Rita was voted out at last tribal council. He then asks one member of each tribe to step forward. Edgardo and Earl each step forward. Jeff speaks those tingling words, “Drop your buffs, we’re choosing new tribes”. Moto and Ravu as you know it will be no more – a relief to the members of Ravu might I say – starvation and humiliation are not good things. Each of them must pick someone from the opposite tribe, with each subsequent tribe member doing the same.
Survivor Fiji Rundown: Episode #6
They play rock, paper, scissors to determine which tribe will go to which camp. Edgardo wins and pulls the orange Ravu buff from a bag. The ‘new Ravu’ Edgardo, Mookie, Alex, Rocky, Dreamz and Anthony will return to crappy camp. The ‘new Moto’ Earl, Boo, Michelle, Cassandra, Yao-Man and Stacy will head off to luxury camp. Lisi who is the odd survivor is told she is going to Exile Island. She makes some goofy comment that she may be going home. She acts like she doesn’t care if she is out of the game. Jeff assures her she will become the new tribe member of whichever tribe goes to tribal council. When she arrives at Exile island, she reads the clues and quips, “yeah whatever”. She is pissed she lost her cushy camp and her alliance, since the Moto 5 have been split up.
At Moto, Earl can’t believe how ridiculously fabulous camp is. The first thing he does is jump on the couch and bed. They have been left cheese, crackers and champagne for feasting.
Alex is touting how much he likes the idea of an all man tribe. Certainly the new Ravu will kick ass on the next challenge. Anthony is feeling like the weak man on a burly man team. They too arrive to cheese, crackers and champagne.
Earl is already looking for the person to make the swing vote. He approaches Cassandra as being the one to join Earl, Yao-Man and Michelle. She says she likes them and will think about it. Earl is heady with the idea he would then hold all the power. Don’t get ahead of yourself dude.
Anthony is at camp tending fire and boiling water. He feels he has no one to trust. The other guys are out catching crabs and fish. Alex asks Mookie to join with the former Moto tribe members in voting Anthony out.
The immunity challenge will show how effectively the communication is with the new tribe members. They are all attached around the waist with poles between them – my best comparison is think tinker toys. The object is for them to move through a maze of gates with the opposing paths crossing at some points along the way. They are relatively even as the challenge progresses, until Michelle gets aggressive and actually steps over Ravu and moves Moto past them. Even though Ravu is now a tribe of big guys, Moto wins again to remain undefeated. Is Ravu cursed?
Anthony goes into panic mode – for good reason. Dreamz raises the idea perhaps Rocky should go since he is so volatile and Anthony does so much more around camp. But the consensus is Rocky is better than Anthony at the challenges. Edgardo tells us Rocky has a screw loose and doesn’t like the way he treats Anthony like his bitch.
At tribal council Jeff asks the obvious, “Anthony, are you worried every one else is out and you’re left at camp by yourself?” – duh Jeff. Rocky calls Anthony ‘effeminate’ and tells him he should get a spine. So mature. Anthony says he has held back to keep the tribe together and happy. How’s that working for you? No surprise Anthony is unanimously voted out. He wishes the tribe good luck as he leaves. Jeff adds, tomorrow Lisi joins the tribe as its new member.
How will the all guy Ravu accept Lisi? Will Ravu ever win a challenge? Will Yao-Man find the idol? Will there be other twists before the merge? Stay tuned to see who will Outwit – Outplay – Outlast.
