At the request of our readers and my own curiosity, I have sent many "what the hell" emails to Disney asking what's up with Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. I also try to remind them that the third Pirates installment comes out in May instead of July, so they should be moving their ass on a trailer or four for the film.
Though Disney has not confirmed the latest 'scoop' on Pirates 3 just yet, we could have a trailer for Worlds End in the next couple of weeks.
Possible Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End Trailer Date
A few days ago this 'scoop' appeared over at IMDB. Though most assumed that the Pirates trailer would appear with either a cool film or television series, I don't think anybody predicted Dancing with the Stars.
I have an exclusive on when the Pirates 3 trailer will premiere. I was at an advance screening of Wild Hogs yesterday and the Disney executive told the audience that the first trailer for At World's End will premiere on March 19 during the premiere of Dancing with the Stars.
A couple of hours after the trailer will also debut online.
Could we have the first Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End trailer by March 16th? Well, the preview is certainly due, and the choice of week definitely seems to fit. Now if only my Disney contact will write me back with either a "yea" or "nea". I knew I should have put "important!" as the subject!
