Emma Stone is on one heckuva roll. I just saw her in the red band trailer for Get Him to the Greek, and now she's in talks for The Help.

Emma Stone in Talks for The Help

DreamWorks is hoping that Emma Stone might star in The Help, the bigscreen adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's best-selling tome. Directed by Tate Taylor, who also happens to be a friend of Stockett, off a script he wrote, The Help explores how the unspoken code of behavior governing Southern households is shattered when an aspiring writer interviews a maid, who speaks candidly about her experiences. The interview sets off shock waves that reverberate across the entire community. If the story sounds unrelatable, it is because it is set in Mississippi in the early 1960s.

Stone would play the role of Skeeter, the writer.
