Flash Forward on DVD

Flash Forward Flash Forward

I’m glad FlashForward is releasing the first half of the season on DVD to give people an easy catch-up. I like the show, I don’t know how many new people are going to jump in thanks to this DVD, but I’ll support it. And I don’t expect Blu Ray for a show coming out before the first season’s done, and that’s dwindling in the ratings.

On DVD: Flash Forward

The standard DVD holds up really well on my HDTV. It almost looks better than the broadcast quality of my AT&T U-Verse. There’s a little fuzz as it up converts but you see more detail in certain close-ups than I do on the air.

The “look ahead” feature will probably disappoint die hard conspiracy theorists because there’s nothing major revealed. I actually care more about the characters of the show than the plot, so I found it to be some strong character scenes. Subtle of course because they’re not giving it all away, but a good carrot to dangle before me until March 18.
