When I heard that Adam Sandler had joined the cast of Jack and Jill I first thought I was experiencing a bit of deja vu. Seriously, this sounded strangely familiar. I did some digging through the CanMag archives and, what do you know, Sandler was on board Jack and Jill back when Sony bought the pitch... in 2006.

Almost three years later, Adam Sandler is prepping to play Jack as well as his twin sister Jill. Sounds like a lot of fun. Unfortunately we still have no idea on what the film may be about.
What we do know is that Sony plans on having the project in production by early next year with hopes to get the film out to theaters by early 2011. Some open time frames, sure, but the last wait was three years, so this is a huge improvement.
