Justin Long
Robert Redford is working up a nice cast for his upcoming historical drama, The Conspirator. First he landed James McAvoy and Robin Wright Penn -- nice start! -- and has now convinced Justin Long to come aboard.

Directed by Redford, The Conspirator tells the story of Confederate sympathizer Mary Surratt (Wright Penn), who was tried as a conspirator in the Lincoln assassination, and Col. Frederick Aiken (McAvoy), who reluctantly agreed to defend her before a military tribunal. Long plays a soldier who lost a limb in the Civil War and is McAvoy's best friend and conscience.
Long has dabbled in just about every genre including action, comedy, romance, spoofs and even horror, but this type of film will be a first for him.
Production on The Conspirator is expected to being this month in Georgia.
