J.J. Abrams Throwing Around Spy Idea
JJ Abrams spec script caused a bidding war between ABC, NBC and CBS. Warner Bros. TV is in a nice position, considering that Abrams' banner, Bad Robot, is located at the studio.
The project, which sounds a whole lot like Mr. and Mrs. Smith, centers on spies who are also married. But, with J.J. Abrams take, I guess we should assume lots of flashbacks and twists around every episode.
