If you've never read the Twilight books or don't know who the Volturi are, here is a brief rundown. Located in Volterra, Italy the Volturi are one of the oldest secs of vampires, making them the most powerful. In the present their primary job is to enforce peaceful co-existence with humans; meaning keep the vampire race secret. As you might have guessed, these same Volturi later learn that Bella knows of the existence of vampires, as she's sleeping with one, and attempt to turn her or kill her. Meet some Volturis below.
