Come on, you knew I’d give Hannah Montana: The Movie the Blu Ray love. It is a pretty movie. It’s filled with bright colors, whether it’s the heightened concert/music video sequences or the Hollywood pastel. The farm sequences are down home deep blues and greens.
On Blu-ray: Hannah Montana: The Movie
The majority of the movie is clean and clear. You’ll see gritty detail in the old wooden farmlands and muddy pratfalls, or the gaudy, elaborate show biz settings. And as a grown-up HDTV owner, that’s what you’ll be studying while your kids have Hannah Montana on an infinite loop.
Surprisingly, not all scenes are clear. There are some grainy moments that look more like digital errors than poorly restored film. Now, it’s a brand new movie so it should be up to standards. Maybe it was rushed, maybe the Blu Ray was rushed or maybe I’m just being picky.
