Columbia Pictures better be careful, as they're on their way to creating an ensemble cast for their adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert's bestselling memoir Eat, Pray, Love.
Billy Crudup for Eat, Pray, Love
Billy Crudup joins Julia Roberts, Javier Bardem and Richard Jenkins in Eat, Pray, Love.
Directed by Ryan Murphy off a script he wrote with Jennifer Salt, the adaptation will have Crudup play Steven, who is married to Gilbert (Roberts). His hopes to have children are dashed when her quest to get pregnant leaves her feeling she is not living the life she wants. She embarks on a journey of self-discovery around the world.
Crudup was cast just in time, as filming begins next week. We last saw the actor in Public Enemies, which was okay, and Watchmen, which I LOVED.
