Watchmen Poster Watchmen

Feel cheated by the theatrical version of Watchmen? Thinking of the fans (and the extra revenues), Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. have announced that they will release the director's cut of Watchmen to theaters on July 17th; my birthday! Excited to see it? Of course you are! But there's a catch.

Theatrical Director's Cut of Watchmen

To see the director's cut of Watchmen, Zack Snyder's full vision, you need to live in either Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis or New York. If you can't catch the screening, dry your eyes, as the film will hit shelves on Blu-ray and DVD the following week.

If you do catch the theatrical screening, be sure to bring a seat cushion, as it contains an additional 25 minutes of footage. Bringing the total running time clean past three hours. Nice.
