While we wait to discover if Katherine Heigl really died on Grey's Anatomy, the actress has been sure to pick up some acting gigs just in case. Warner Bros. has cast Heigl to star in the romancer Life as We Know It.
Katherine Heigl for Life As We Know It
Directed by Greg Berlanti off a spec script by Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson, Life as We Know It follows two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers for their orphaned daughter.
Heigl currently has a couple productions coming our way including The Ugly Truth, where she stars opposite Gerard Butler, and Five Killers.
If you've never heard of Berlanti, the director is best known for the TV series, Dirty Sexy Money, Brothers and Sisters and Dawson's Creek; all of which he produced. Though he was once considered to direct Green Lantern, Warner Bros. attached him to a different gig.
