Now here's a comedy for our time. Universal Pictures has made a deal with Reese Witherspoon to produce and star in the 'aspirational comedy' Pharm Girl.

As you might have guessed, Pharm Girl centers one a woman's odyssey through the drug industry.
Bad Santa scribes Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are writing the screenplay and, if all goes to plan, they will also direct. Witherspoon will play the title woman, who gets a job at a pharmaceutical powerhouse but begins to see the underbelly of the industry as she rises through the company's ranks.
Considering that I'm confident that the pharmaceutical companies bury cures all the time -- we haven't cured cancer yet, really? -- this film sounds right up my alley.
