Miley Cyrus will have company on the set of The Last Song with the addition of Greg Kinnear and Kelly Preston to the cast.

The adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel is being directed by Julie Anne Robinson. Sparks is currently penning the script off his book, which he wrote specifically to turn into a starring vehicle for Cyrus.
Kinnear and Preston will play the parents of Cyrus' character, a rebellious teen sent to spend the summer with her estranged father. He tries to reconnect with her through the one thing they have in common: music. No surprise their, considering Cyrus' background as Hannah Montana. (I still think she's in an identity crisis)
Kinnear recently wrapped the Paul Greengrass-directed drama Green Zone for Universal.
