DVD Review: The Closer - The Complete Fourth Season
A featurette about lie detection offers a thematically similar but different perspective than the Lie to Me methods of facial detection. This one puts a bit more faith in the eye movement theories we all know from The Negotiator.
An interview with a real cop puts some of the fictional cases in a soberly realistic perspective. Then of course having the gag reel shows how the performers keep their humor when dealing with this subject matter. Deleted scenes show some good cop banter too, though somewhat tangential from the episodic plot.
