Taken Taken
The stylish action hit Taken is a good looking beauty with emphasis on color and sharpness. Since the film is slightly saturated, basic skin tones are a little redder and glow. The picture is totally sharp, but the effect of the color is a slight surreality.

So instead of seeing the detail in all the scenes and backgrounds, you get a slightly heightened look at them. It still looks like real places, but something’s a little bit off in them, which works for this type of movie. And this is compared to other Blu Rays. Compared to normal DVDs it still rocks the detail and clarity.

You still get to see some gorgeous views of Paris, both the pretty and the seedy sides. The saturation adds some color to the night, and there are still some rich colors in various locations to see. Most importantly, Blu Ray is clear enough to see all the fast cutting action.
