The black and white posters for the The Expendables were cool, sure, but Lionsgate made the right decision by splashing on some color. I even don't mind the namedropping, as this actioner has quite the unique cast.

I don't know what it is about The Expendables, but there is something about it that straight geeks me out. I know - We've only seen a production vid and a couple posters, but look at this crazy cast!
Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny Trejo, Charisma Carpenter, Steve Austin, Curtis Jackson, Brittany Murphy and David Zayas.
Taking advantage of this cast for the film's early promotion, the poster does show off a few names, and when you look down a bit further you see the big hitters with Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Me likey.
