The Secret
It turns out that there are still some graphic novels that have yet to be acquired. Finding that needle in the haystack, Universal Pictures has acquired Dark Horse Comics' The Secret.
The Secret Gets Adapted
To be adapted by Scott Milam, The Secret revolves around a group of high school students involved in a prank that goes horribly wrong, but puts a spin on the teen horror thriller.
With so many comicbooks getting adapted, Dark Horse, the third biggest of the graphic novel publishers behind Marvel and DC, is ready to leave its mark.
"People have a sense what a comicbook movie is, but at Dark Horse, we're trying to defy some of those cliches and expectations," Dark Horse founder Mike Richardson said. "None of our books are the same."
Dark Horse have got a couple adaptations in the pipeline including Umbrella Academy with Universal as well.
