Paramount Pictures is definitely picking up the intensity in the Star Trek TV spots. While the first set was about showing off some action and a lot of euphoria, the new spots are all about sci fi craziness.

The good people at Traileraddict have posted two new TV spots for Star Trek that rock out to action. I've already predicted this film to be one of the best of 2009 and so far everything we've seen seems to confirm the notion. Check out the spots below:
Star Trek will open to theaters on May 8th.
