With Coraline approaching its theatrical release, I have to admit that I'm starting to get really, really excited for both the film and the explosion of the 3D medium that we'll see this year. What makes Coraline so crazy is that it does not have the ease of converting CG to 3D, with stop-motion making life a lot more difficult for the film's creators. To see a bit of work that went into making the film, you have got to check out this new behind the scenes clip.
Behind the Scenes: Coraline
Focus Features has released a few new features for Coraline but only one focuses on the film's sets, miniatures and other behind the scenes goodies. As an added plus, they show off what it takes to animate a single character thanks to a stop-motion camera that is filming the crew as well. So cool. Check the behind the scenes clip out below.
