While driving around Mississippi at 11:30 PM Sunday night, Morgan Freeman's vehicle went off of the road (Highway 32) and flipped several times.
Morgan Freeman Hospitalized After Car Accident
Freeman was immediately airlifted to a hospital in Memphis. A spokesman for the Regional Medical Center says Freeman is in serious condition.
Though there was also a woman passenger in Freeman's car, there has been no word on her condition.
According to witnesses on the scene of the accident, Freeman was talking before being taken to the hospital. The 71 year-old actor currently lives in Mississippi.
