MIB
Wow, Men in Black is already over ten years old. That can be the cutoff for some films' chance at high quality, but this one holds up.
Blu-Ray Review: Men in Black
With most of the film set at night, it is very sharp and clear. All the scenes are dynamic with lit highlights in dark frames, but nothing is buried in shadows. The creatures are all sleak and shiny.
In the daytime scenes, some of the effects are blurry, but when it slows down, they're sleek and shiny again.
You'll see detail in the space weapons, the floor of MIB HQ with all its scuffs and marble pattern. Creatures like the squid baby and the face pilot show all the detail the artists imbued in them.
