Okay, Olivia Newton John is not coming back to talk about Xanadu. Brian Grazer isn't going to come back and talk about Xanadu, no matter how many additional DVD sales it may warrant. But other producers will. The director will.
DVD Review: Xanadu
The retrospective spot on the making of Xanadu is pretty frank as the filmmakers talk about what let to this. There are good Hollywood stories and a real sense of camp for what the film became.
It is a fashion history, a Los Angeles history and finally an acknowledgment of the reviews and box office. This section may be a tad revisionist, "If only they'd opened wider…"
But lest anybody think this is an exercise in denial, there are some very sincere fans describing what the film meant to them. And it comes with the soundtrack, so that's the best part!
