Now, I'm not one to pick on somebody just because everybody else is doing it. Take Tom Cruise for instance.
Like Britney Spears -- wait, no, she's way worse -- Tom Cruise has garnered the attention of the angry media the past few years and has still yet to escape its wrath. Is he coming out with bad roles? Far from it actually, but the image of Cruise getting blasted by a squirt gun or jumping on a couch still sits heavy and consumers minds. To top it off, Cruise still has one weakness ready to exploit.

The leaked video that was shown at the scientology award ceremony when Tom Cruise was presented with the IAS Freedom Medal of Valor in 2006 has found its way back online.
Back to my opening: I'm not one to point a finger and laugh just because everybody is doing it. But I know that everybody will be searching for this video the next week, and I am a slave to the consumer.
If I had my say, I'd say leave Tom alone. He's geeked on what he does, and one can only hope that all people are as er, inspired as he is.
To give Tom one positive nod, the guy is still one of the most gifted actors of this day and, if it weren't for him, we might have never seen the UA logo appear back in front of the big screen.
