Damn Those Ads on CanMag!

Inside CanMag.Com Hopefully the ad won't be as annoying.
What is up with that dang pop-in ad CanMag has! Alright, alright, we get it. About a month ago I began working on a program to limit the amount of times that ad can pop-in on our readers. However, I couldn't get it to work so I just left it as is. Well, after receiving a couple complaints [complaints that had me in hysterics] I have decided to work on the filter again. And now it works! But what does that mean?

Limited Pop-In

First, let me point out that the pop-in advertisement is the number one revenue earner for CanMag.Com and we don't earn much [I serve tables for supplemental income]. Talking about $1/hr here, so yes I have to keep the pop-in ad, but now it is limited. So what does this mean?

Well, your browser must first be able to accept harmless cookies for the new system to work. But the general gist is that the pop-in ad will appear for only two pages per visit to CanMag.Com. After you have opened two pages, you should experience easy reading without the 'annoying' pop-in ad.

Now, I know it may still be annoying, but not 'too' annoying is the key I am shooting for. So, feel free to test the system out and let me know how it works.

On a final note, thanks to the continued support to all the readers of CanMag.Com.
