Doom Check out the ops team for Doom
Got some nice new Doom updates for you, plus the image to the right. Doom is based on the popular first-person PC game that offers nothing but true gore and violence.... which momma likes.

Doom Developments

Empire was able to catch up with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and get him to spill some somewhat spoilerific details about his role in Doom. Rock plays a guy called 'Sarge', a member of the special ops force sent in to kick some evil butt. Co-starring with the Rock is Karl Urban [Lord of the Rings], who will play as John Grimm. Some time or another, these two characters are expected to go toe-to-toe.

[what The Rock has to say on Doom]

Here is a little of what The Rock had to say about the Doom movie and his role. Be warned, Dwayne has no problem giving away some spoilerish details.

I'm playing the commanding officer who, without ruining it for everyone, turns bad, which is great. I'm so excited about that movie, I'll tell you why. Number one, it's my first rated-R movie and it's a very unapologetic rated-R movie. Not only that, but the monsters are real, they're not CGI. They're made by Stan Winston who did Jurassic Park and Predator and all that. So the monster's got weight and when they’re in a scene they're like Aliens! I get to transform and become, I'm going to tell you this right now, the BMFOTP. Know what that means? It means the baddest motherfucker on the planet.
