The Last Kiss on DVD The Last Kiss
Though watching a guy only somewhat older go through an early midlife crisis is a bit unnerving, the film serves as a thought-provoking piece of media for those of us about to make a big move in life. Matrimony has to be as big as it gets, right?

DVD Review: The Last Kiss

What do you do right before agreeing to the big ball and chain, sorry, marriage? How about panic and take a try at infidelity. How else you gonna know for sure?

The Last Kiss on DVD

Zach Braff (Garden State) leads an ensemble cast of up-and-comers and seasoned veterans in the funny and touching The Last Kiss arriving on DVD December 26, 2006 from Paramount Home Entertainment. Written by Academy Award® winner* Paul Haggis (Million Dollar Baby, Crash), The Last Kiss follows four male friends as they struggle with love, infidelity, forgiveness, marriage, friendship and the inevitability of turning 30. The fun, contemporary comedy-drama also stars Rachel Bilson (“The OC”), Casey Affleck (Oceans 12), Blythe Danner (Meet The Fockers), Tom Wilkinson (Batman Begins) and Jacinda Barrett (Poseidon) and features a hip soundtrack with tracks from Coldplay, Snow Patrol and Fiona Apple.

The Last Kiss DVD includes commentary by Zach Braff and director Tony Goldwyn, commentary by Braff, Goldwyn, Jacinda Barrett, Rachel Bilson, Michael Weston and Eric Christian Olsen, the featurettes “Getting Together,” “Behind Our Favorite Scenes,” “Filmmakers’ Perspective” and “Last Thoughts,” deleted scenes and a gag reel. In addition, the DVD features the first-ever music video directed by Braff for the song “Ride” by Cary Brothers, along with a personal introduction.

Being one who also has an inherent fear of relationships that require, uhh, attachment, the film does hit a personal chord. Zach Braff is, well, Zach Braff and Rachel Bilson is adorable. Don't think that the film only revolves around these two, however, as characters such as Blythe Danner's Anna will steal the spotlight more often then not.

Though I was first shocked that Paramount would wait until after Christmas on the release of the DVD, I guess infidelity is something to wait on for after the holidays.

The Last Kiss DVD is presented in either full screen or widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, English 2.0 Surround and French 5.1 Surround and English and Spanish subtitles and includes the following special features:
