Sarah Michelle Gellar loves the Asians. Well, she loves Asian remakes at least. First she has The Grudge, then The Return and now this. Looks like somebody is Addicted!

Sarah Michelle Gellar for Addicted

According to Variety, Yari Film Group has picked up Sarah Michelle Gellar to star in the supernatural thriller Addicted

The film will be loosely based on the 2002 Korean film Jungdok.

Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist, who helmed the acclaimed Swedish film The Invisible, will direct. Michael Petroni will write the screenplay.

Story revolves around a woman whose husband and brother-in-law end up in a coma after a horrible accident. When the brother-in-law wakes up, he says he is her true husband.

Project reunites Gellar with another Asian-remake lover -- Vertigo. The production house has produced The Grudge, The Grudge 2, The Ring, The Ring 2.

Gellar can next be seen in the thriller The Return this November.
