300 Glory

When I saw the new still for 300 I first thought I was having some major deja vu. Then I looked back through some of our articles and found this, an article on a video diary where I took a screenshot of what was going on. I thought the capture was awesome and apparently so did Warner Bros.

300 Movie Still

The trailer impressions from Comic Con on 300 have been very positive and I would be lying if I said the wait isn't killing me to see something new from the film online. For now we will just have to stick with stills like the one below.

300 300

Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite against their Persian enemy, drawing a line in the sand for democracy. The film brings Miller's (Sin City) acclaimed graphic novel to life by combining live action with virtual backgrounds that capture his distinct vision of this ancient historic tale.

If you haven't done so already, I highly suggest you watch the video diary that was tied in to the still above.

300 will come to theatres March 16th, 2007.

For video journals and movie info, head on over to the 300 Movie Page.

Stay tuned for updates.
