Eragon Movie Poster
Though we still have about a month to go for the teaser trailer of Eragon, one lucky person was able to see some of the first clips from the film.
Mike Macauley, the owner of Shur'tugal, was kind enough to alert us that he was shown various segments from Eragon during his visit to E3. These same segments are expected to be used in the upcoming teaser trailer for the film.
The scene where Eragon, Murtagh, and the horses emerge from under the waterfall right as they reach the Varden is in the movie, however, I donít know exactly how itís done. In the preview, I did see Eragon and Murtagh come out of the water with a few warriors pointing swords at their heads.
Another scene’s existence that I’m able to confirm is the prologue. I’m not sure what order it appears in, but in the clip I was shown, Durza is standing on the top of the small cliff, lights flashing and wind blowing around him, performing magic.
Mike goes on to mention that unless ILM digitally inserts horns on the Urgals, the creatures will definitely appear on screen without them; though they are described to have them in the novel.
Mike also has tons of information on the upcoming Eragon video games. For the entire report, head over to Shur'tugal.
