Topher Grace, who we have been hoping turns into one heck of a Venom for Spider-Man 3, has begun to line up his next gigs.
Grace for Kids in America
According to Variety, Universal Pictures, through Imagine Entertainment, has picked up Topher Grace to star in Kids in America.
Grace pitched the idea of the film with producing partner Gordon Kaywin and will go on to produce with Dany Wolf, Jim Whitaker and Sarah Bowen.
Universal has brought on scribe Michael Dowse to pen the script.
Kids in America follows an aimless college grad who pursues his dream girl at a wild Labor Day weekend party. He, his twin sister and their best friend struggle with their burgeoning adulthood over the course of the night.
After starring on the Fox television series That '70s Show, Grace has begun to make a name for himself in the film business. After a brief stint in Traffic and a lead role in the teenie-bopper Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, Grace finally caught a break with In Good Company. Now a household name, Grace will reach a whole new level of stardom with his upcoming role as Eddie Brock (assumed) in Spider-Man 3.
