I have been afraid of Erika Christensen ever since she was that creepy stalker-bitch in Swimfan. Sure, I may have a weakness to crazy chicks but that doesn't mean I haven't appreciated the improved roles the young actress has received lately.
You can now see Erika in films such as The Perfect Score, The Upside of Anger, Flightplan and, with the latest announcement, The Gardener of Eden too.
Gardener of Eden Cast Grows
According to Variety, Erika Christensen, Lukas Haas and Giovanni Ribisi have joined the cast of Kevin Connolly's feature directorial debut, The Gardener of Eden.
Leonardo DiCaprio's own production company, Appian Way, will produce The Gardener of Eden with Allen Bain of the 7th Floor.
Kevin Connolly (director) is best known for his lead role as Eric Murphy in the hit HBO series Entourage and has played a supporting role in films such as The Notebook and John Q. For a little bit of a fun fact, Connolly also played the kid in Rocky V who bullied Balboa Jr.; this kid later gets his ass kicked in the film.
The Gardener of Eden is a dark comedy written by Adam "Tex" Davis. The story concerns alienated youths in suburban New Jersey.
When one young man accidentally saves a girl from a neighborhood assault, he decides that his calling in life is to become a modern-day hero.
IEG Virtual Studios will finance the film and is a joint venture between Initial Entertainment Group and Virtual Studios.
