Happy Holidays from the people at CanMag.Com! Hope everybody got the gifts they wanted and had a SAFE holiday.
Hope everybody had a wonderful holiday celebrating, well, whatever all of you celebrate. For me, being the little Catholic that I am, Christmas is the holiday of choice. Therefore, I am off to San Diego today to do what I can only call 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' with the fam and relatives.
Though we normally update our Trailer Database with the hottest movie trailers during the holidays we had already done so last week and the Egg Nog is already beginning to hit. Therefore, if you did need something to fill your time with the family today, check out the latest movie trailers.
For those of you who didn't get the home media item you had requested for Christmas, we have recently noticed that Mitsubishi is beginning to offer high-definition DLP projection TVs that offer 1080P. Though this technology has no practical use yet, the release of Sony's Blue-Ray DVD technology coming our way during the second quarter of 2006 will allow you to watch films in resolutions us moviebuffs could only dream of. (if you do have HDTV in your home, imagine that... but better).
The estimated cost of a Blue-Ray DVD player is going to start somewhere north of $900. However, Sony's Playstation 3 will include the Blue-Ray DVD player; and that is expected to go for ~$500. For more info on Blue-Ray DVDs, read here.
Anywho, Happy Holidays! I will be heading out to Las Vegas for New Year's so expect a ton of updates before then.
If you have any movie scoops for the holidays, please feel free to report them!
