After receiving quite a few suggestions this weekend
for new movie pages, some of which we have already added, we have begun
a new collection of movie posters for the latest upcoming films. The first
posters are from A
Sound of Thunder [August 31st] and Elizabethtown
[October 14th]. Sure, these posters have been around for a bit, but the
first official one-sheet for Domino

The biggest issue with A Sound of Thunder
is the fact that this film has been sitting in a can for some time. Now,
if we have learned a lesson from The Adventures of Pluto Nash,
we would know that films placed on the warehouse shelf for extended periods
of time just don't seem to do well. However, Warner Bros claims that the
time taken was necessary for the advancement of the special effects, which
should result in an even better movie.
Based on a short story by award-winning author Ray Bradbury, A Sound of Thunder opens on the year 2055 in downtown Chicago where a very elite travel agency, Time Safari Inc., has cornered the lucrative time-traveling market with an exclusive prehistoric hunting package. Time Safari Inc. is the hottest ticket in town…. until the unthinkable happens.
Someone breaks the rules. And evolution runs off its tracks.
The changes come in waves. They start small, affecting the atmosphere and lower life forms first, then move rapidly up the food chain with each subsequent pass. Within 24 hours dramatic transformations appear throughout the city, spurring residents from curiosity to growing alarm and finally panic.
A Sound of Thunder
Even though I am not jumping out of my chair to
catch all the latest on the upcoming film Elizabethtown, the film
still has an impressive following; at least, judging by the amount of emails
sent in requesting info on it. Starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst,
Elizabethtown is the story of Drew Baylor who has recently discovered
of his father's death. Drew must travel to their small hometown of Elizabethtown,
Kentucky to attend to his father's memorial. On the flight to Kentucky,
Drew meets Claire, a quick-witted flight attendant, who helps him navigate
the rough waters ahead and proves that amazing things happen when you least
I have been sent over two movie posters for the upcoming film Elizabethtown,
both of which you can check out below.
Last, but definitely not least, we have just been
alerted that the good people over at Joblo
have received the first official one-sheet for the upcoming film Domino.
The latest film from Tony Scott starring Keira Knightley. Like Tony Scott's
other films [Spy Game, Crimson Tide, Enemy of the
State], Domino will feature a mix of comedy, action, and suspense.
The film tells the true story of Domino Harvey, daughter of legendary actor
Laurence Harvey and a former Ford model who rejected her privileged Beverly
Hills life to become a bounty hunter.
That is it for all the latest movie posters. I am currently trying to get an exclusive on one from Lions Gate Films, but we'll see if they hit me back.
Stay tuned for updates.
