2005 MTV Movie Awards

Movie Awards: Gollum Even Gollum got an award.
Back in the days when I went to school, the MTV Movie Awards always signaled a beginning to Summer vacation; and the MTV Music Video Awards signaled back to school. I have always loved the MTV Movie Awards and have never missed a show [or at least one of the thirty repeats the next day]. But, I feel that the show has lost a lot of the humor and creativity that it once possessed.

The best MTV Movie Awards shows [for me] were the ones that came out right before and after Titanic. Each show contained great skits, and very humorous mini-skits. Every award category that was shown had a special movie parody before it, a parody that was usually very creative and very funny. The latest shows now feature about three big skits [mind you, still funny], and some interesting introductions to each award bracket. While I still greatly enjoy the newer MTV Movie Awards, I miss the old days.

Anywho, on to the nominations for the 2005 MTV Movie Awards.
