Two-A-Days: Hoover High
To be honest, I had no idea this show existed until I popped the DVD into my player. It could just be the fact that I am completely burnt out on football dramas as the reason why I just couldn't get into this series. It is also seemed to target the next MTV generation, something I have only recently grown out of.
DVD Review: Two-A-Days: Hoover High
From MTV Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment comes Two-A-Days: Hoover High - The Complete First Season. Starring the Hoover High School Buccaneers of Hoover, Alabama and named for the grueling twice-daily practice schedule, takes high school football to a whole new level.
One of the first surprises about the DVD is that it comes out a day after Christmas; talk about missing the boat. Other than that, the show features much of what I'd expect from a reality series based on young, usually over-dramatic, high school athletes.
At least Laguna Beach is teaming with hotties.
It is series like Hoover High that make me ask why the hell don't I have a show all about me? Get a camera and watch me 'act' while working in front of my computer. Seriously, it could make for good entertainment.
Harsh? Maybe, but the entertainment industry has to lay off of the topic of football at least for a little while.
Two-A-Days: Hoover High comes to DVD on December 26th.
Stay tuned for updates.
