Keira Knightley

Even though Bend it Like Beckham was the first film to draw attention to Keira Knightley, it wasn't until her role as Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl that really gave her fame. Actually, I think that Beckham got more views after the release of Pirates.

Can a girl become a huge hit with one huge movie? Of course! However, Keira Knightley definitely sports the look, and body, that has helped get her the extra attention needed. This girl is smoking hot... and young! Having barely become an adult by the premiere of Pirates, Keira Knightley won't be drinking age until 2006. Though young, this girl definitely carries herself in a higher stature.

Take the wonderful film Love Actually for example. Knightley plays the role of Juliet, a girl who is destined to discover that her newlywed husband's best friend has the hots for her. Watching this performance you would never figure that Knightley was that young, nor would you have in any of her other roles either. Knghtley was only seventeen when production on Pirates of the Caribben began.

After these films Knightley appeared as Guinevere in the latest King Arthur and as Jackie in The Jacket. While neither of these films may have brightened the spotlight on Keira Knightley, they do show she has got some range on the films she does.

We can currently expect Knightley in two upcoming box office sluggers. She will play the role of Domino in Tony Scott's Domino and a return as Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Memorable Moments

-Elizabeth Swann attempts to raly her pirate crew to go save Will and Jack. The scene cuts to Elizabeth rowing by herself as she states 'Pirates.' Pirates of the Caribbean

-Guinevere prepares for battle by wearing a threaded top and blue paint. Though the scene was suppose to be intense, it was hard not to get aroused. King Arthur

-Juliet watches the wedding footage taken by her husband's best friend. Upon doing so, she realizes that not only does the best friend not hate her, but loves her. Love Actually

-Jackie makes love to Jack Starks, her visitor from the past. This scene is probably the most revealing of Keira Knightley yet. The Jacket
